BANGALORE: Captain of Pakistan Blind Cricket team, Zeeshan Abbasi has been admitted to hospital in critical condition after he was reportedly made to drink acid this morning.
It should be mentioned here that Pakistan yesterday defeated India by eight wickets.
The hotel management said they are investigating about the incident and footages from the CCTV cameras are being scoured to ascertain as to who brought the acid in the room.
Pakistan Blind Cricket Council Syed Sultan Shah also confirmed that a glass of acid was found from Zeeshan’s table.
Talking to SAMAA from Abbottabad, Zeeshan’s father said his son is alright, as he has talked to him, adding however, when his son was given breakfast, there was acid in his glass of water
Pakistan defeated India on Friday by eight wickets in Twenty-20 World Cup Cricket Tournament being held in Banglore.
